Michel Mendoza, Dancer & Choreographer

Michel Mendoza, 24 years old of Uruapan, Michoacan, Mexico soloed in the 2017 season in Munich, Germany with JSLN Dance Company in "Vitruvian Variation¨ developed for her by choreographer Soren Niewalt. She was a corps member of JSLN in "...and she persisted" by Jamie Haughton, and performed solos from "Raymunda Variation" arranged by Mendoza. She was featured soloist in July and October 2016 Guadalajara, Mexico in "Lune" by Jiandy Collado and "Don Quixote Variation" and "Raymunda Variation" arranged by Mendoza and Collado.

In July 2017 Michel Mendoza was featured soloist and co-choreographer of the street dance video "Round Midday" by veteran dance-video producer Polly Wilkinson, July 2017 Guadalajara. In December 2017 in Michoacan at the Festival International de Guitarras Michel co-created and danced in "La Cimarrón" with classical guitarist Ivonne M. Velasquez. In 2018 Michel choreographed & staged "weird symphony" for a group of young dancers presented at that event and around the state of Michoacan.

A developing force and voice in ballet, dance, dance theatre and media in her native México, Michel is currently seeking dance performance and creation opportunities in Europe, North and South America, worldwide.
